DEFHR TRAINING TEAM

The DEFHR Training Team exists to train rescued horses and bring them to a higher level of adoptability.  This is accomplished by moving training team members and horses through a goal-oriented training program that takes them through the stages of learning and prepares the horses for permanent homes.
Established in fall of 2004, this team has been successful at training and retraining the horses of Days End Farm. Events include: Participating in private training clinics with John Lyons Certified trainer David Thomas Hosting classes on saddle fitting, bit mechanics and round penning techniques Training book studies Training days that sharpen our skills Monthly team meetings that keep the members connected to changes and procedures at Days End Farm, as well as to other team members and their horse partners It has been an exciting process of vision, growth and achievement with an eventful calendar year ahead of us! Thanks to you, trainers, Days End Farm is achieving it's goals of rehabilitating horses and placing them in forever, loving homes!
