Fundraiser for Days End Farm Horse Rescue

Lisbon, MD – January 28, 2008 – Days End Farm Horse Rescue will host its first ever “Grapes of Hooves” Wine Tasting and Live/Silent Auction fundraiser on March 29th, at the Ten Oaks Ballroom in Clarksburg, MD. Funds raised by this event will be used by Days End to provide medical care and rehabilitation for unwanted, abused or neglected horses, and community outreach, Humane Education programs and volunteer opportunities to the public.

The wine tasting, featuring a variety of reds, whites and champagnes, gives attendees an opportunity to sample a wide range of wine varietals. Wines may also be purchased following the event. Food, provided by Zeffert & Gold, will be available at stationery tables throughout the ballroom, and include Hot Maryland Crab Dip, Gourmet cheeseboard, fresh vegetables and dip, carved roast Sirloin of Beef and Turkey breast and more. A chocolate/dessert station is also planned.

The auction will be both live and silent, offering such items as: framed and signed prints, photographs, jewelry, leather apparel, pottery, crystal, sports memorabilia, dining gift certificates, and mini-week vacation stays at Chincoteague Island and the Shenandoah Valley.

Come “dressy casual” and make an evening out of divine wine, fantastic food, great shopping, and support this necessary organization that benefits neglected and abused animals on a local and national basis.
