Horse Description: Ginny is a gorgeous palomino pony mare that came to DEFHR in November 2016 from Prince Georges County. She is super sweet with a willing -to- try- anything attitude. She was re-started under saddle in January 2017. Ginny is currently going walk/trot/canter. She backs nicely, has a great 'whoa', is working on side-passing and turns on the forehand and haunches. She loves tackling trot pole exercises and recently has found that she really likes jumping! She has been out on a trail ride and was fearless in the lead position but didn't mind following along, even waiting to be asked to trot from the rider. She popped over fallen logs and discovered that water crossings weren't so difficult after all. She has been on a stock trailer as well as a straight load with a ramp. She likes to move out but is super responsive to the rider's aids and she should make a great intermediate rider's all-around pony!
