Horse Description: Delmar, or fondly known as 'Delly', is a fantastic horse with a lot of try and a ton of personality! He likes being in the center of attention so he can show off his super springy trot and his coppery toned coat. He recently was allowed to show off a bit at the PA Horse World Expo (March 2017) and he absolutely loved being in front of the audience but didn't mind taking a nap later in his stall. He's a cute mover that'll get you noticed in the dressage ring but is brave enough and laidback enough to hack out in the woods. He really likes leading so he can walk at his pace but doesn't complain too much about following. He is very enthusiastic about figuring out where to put his feet going over trot poles or small fences. He is not spooky and he likes to meander around the ring during his warm up. He is fun loving and fun to ride, it's hard to believe that he is been here a year already and he hasn't found his best friend to go on adventures with! He does have front shoes due to thin soles and is a sensitive guy when it comes to currying and brushing but with a quiet, soft rider/handler, he really thrives! He loads, clips, bathes, ties and is patiently waiting for his new home.
