Friday, September 15th, 2017 Join DEFHR and The 19th Street Band (www.19thstreetband.com) for a concert under the stars as we officially open DEFHR's Hops for Horses Beer Garden to help kick-off our annual Fall Festival! Equine Ambassadors, Officer Barney, and his deputy, Nugget, will be the event bouncers and available for selfies and photo ops, while the Town Grill, the best smokehouse and BBQ restaurant in town (www.towngrillfosters.com),  gets your taste buds going. The Hops for Horses Beer Garden will be serving seasonal brews - paired perfectly to go with great music and fantastic food.

Back by popular demand - The 19th Street Band has a chemistry and stage presence similar to Johnny & June, they captivate audiences just by being themselves, having fun and keeping it real. Making sweet, simple rock and roll. The two combine their instrumental talents with strong harmonies and high energy, bringing genuine joy to the show and instantly connecting to every audience.

The 19th Street Band has had the honor of sharing the stage with country music stars such as Rodney Atkins, Craig Morgan, and Chuck Mead. They have opened for The Wheeler Brothers and Spirit Family Reunion at The Hamilton as well as Grammy Award-winning Western Swing icons, Asleep at the Wheel, at The Birchmere. They have also packed the house at such venues as the 9:30 Club, Black Cat, Strathmore, Jammin’ Java, Rock & Roll Hotel, Kingman Island Bluegrass Festival, The Washington Folk Festival, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge in Nashville, The Black Box in Belfast, and Hill Country BBQ and Pianos in NYC. Check out their new original album, The Things That Matter, released in March 2017.

Admission is $5 per vehicle - parking is on site and 1st come 1st serve until lots are full. Gates open at 6pm and music starts at 7pm.
